Eric är Populär i UK

So then, as we mentioned last week, Chart Show TV in the UK announced plans to screen a 40 minute show devoted to Eric Saade. Well, it happened!

A couple of days ago on Sunday, ‘Eric Saade: An Introduction’, was broadcast to an unsuspecting Britain, and it was suitably and deserved lapped up. The show gave Chart Show TV their highest ratings of the day, which was impressive enough. But it also trounced the majority of Chart Show TV’s satellite music rivals – on Sky/Freesat, it got 6 times the audience of 4music’s Bruno Mars Vs Nicole Scherzinger countdown, and in its timeslot it got more viewers than VH1, MTV Hits, MTV Dance, MTV Rocks, Smash Hits and Clubland TV COMBINED! “I will be popular”, indeed!

If you don’t live in the UK though, you can now watch the show right here, as Chart Show TV have kindly given it to scandipop.co.uk to upload to our Vimeo channel.

So below, you can watch Eric being interviewed by Chart Show TV’s resident young chap with an admirably enthusiastic ear for good pop music – Leyton Bracegirdle. In the interview he talks about his Eurovision success, his previous Melodifestivalen debut, his earlier days as a boybander and Disney mite, and his hopes for some international success. Plus, he answers some of the questions that fans posed to Chart Show TV’s twitter, ahead of the interview.

Right then, let’s get on with it shall we! The music videos can’t be included in the online adaption of the show, because of tricky licensing issues, plus they’re already available to watch online anyway.
